Intellectual Faith
Free E-Book!!
Intellectual sparring contests with non-believers are often frustrating
and unfruitful. The problem is that Christians often don't know how to
witness to them. So, I have written a book on how to witness to
intellectuals.
Topics include common Christian arguments that should not be used with
intellectuals, responses to intellectual arguments that usually leave
Christians speechless, as well as advice on how to be taken seriously by
an intellectual who thinks your beliefs are irrational.
I want very much to help arm my Christian brothers and sisters so that
more intellectual atheists will be won over to the Kingdom. Please
forward this newsletter (or the link below) to any Christian friend who
might be interested.

Dear Michael,
Will 'W' finish what his father started?
For those who remember the Gulf War, president Bush Sr. failed to kill
Sadam Hussein when he had the chance. Well, it looks like his son may
have that chance, too.
The difference between then and now is that Bush Sr. said from the
beginning of the Gulf War that America was only going to get Iraq out of
Kuwait. That's it. Well, that's what he did, and nothing more... Sadam
remained in power. Bush Jr. however, has now taken a stance against Iraq
that will hopefully result in Sadam's fall from leadership.
Whether it be by assassination, a democratic uprising, or plain vanilla
war, only time will tell whether he succeeds.
Honestly, I don't know what to hope for here. I have no love for Saddam
and I will admit that I wouldn't mourn his death. However, will it be
replaced with a democracy? Or another dictatorship?
Some may recall my suggestion that liberating Afghanistan could set a
pattern for peace in the Middle East that could ultimately pressure
Israel into settling the last peace left to be had... the peace with
Palestine, a peace that could signal the era of the Anti- Christ. Of
course, that presumes that the Israeli- Palestinian conflict is
eventually the last struggle left in the Middle East. Well, ousting
Saddam could bring us one step closer.
Jesus in the Proverbs (Part 1) -
Introduction
I hope you all enjoyed our study of
Hebrews 9 and the temple. What's so cool is when we can look at
something we've known about our entire Christian life, and realize new
truths about God's wisdom and his plan for us and the world.
Well, in that same vein we begin studying Proverbs 1 - 9. These chapters
are like a story about a boy who must choose between two women, and the
life each one offers to him. The story is told by a loving father who
wants his own son to make the right choice. It's really quite beautiful.
The kicker is that the women, Wisdom and the Adulteress, represent Jesus
and Satan! Jesus represented by a woman? It just goes to show that women
were created in God's image, too! (We men would do good not to forget
that!)
Enjoy!
